1. Open a text file in Notepad. 2. Enter the following into it:
taskkill /im explorer.exe /f start explorer.exe exit
3. Save the file whatever you want but give it the extension of .bat . 4. Run the bat file you've just created. 5. Explorer will be closed, then restarted instantly and you'll what you want.
That works for me on Windows 10 LTSB, but I've no idea if it still works on the latest builds.
Only catch with doing this is it will corrupt the taskbar, so you'll need to use an alternative like SCT Taskbar or RetroBar.
