Trash can be changed to desktop icon settings or registry editor, and if you delete a file, the recycle bin icon is not filled. You need to refresh it to see how the trash is filled. And the folder icon is from Open Resource Hacker to Open Folder. I just want to solve these two problems.

For the simple desktop icons, you can go to the desktop icon settings. Over settings: Personalization > Themes > Related Settings > Desktop icon settings Over run prompt: "Rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL desk.cpl,,0" For other icons, like the default folder icon, you can use software like CustomizerGod ( www.door2windows.com/customizergod/ ). I hope it helps.

Resource Hacker doesn't use icons from Windows, how it should be (I recommend reading Raymond Chen's blog article When programs assume that the system will never change, episode 1). I don't know about Classic Shell Explorer though, can you send a screenshot of it to give me a bit more context?

Classic Shell Explorer When you click Edit -> ... -> ..., the folder icon becomes the same open folder icon as Open Resource Hacker.
