Hey! I made a skin for Windowblinds that resembles the classic windows 2000 interface pretty well! It is quite close to completion, and I used this to help make it Thanks to SemoB on wincustomize I hope you don't mind me making this, I have wanted it for quite some time now and because I was tired of waiting for something like this to show up, I decided to just make it myself

This looks amazing. How does it handle Windows 10 apps, such as the Setting app?

Here it is!! The final version
This skin functions just the same as the Windows 98 Classic skin, only change is obviously the new coat of paint All fonts have been updated to Tahoma for the authentic experience as well as every button and glyph.

What toolbar(s) are you using to get your explorer to look like that? I tried the skin, really like it, but prefer the stock grey of Windows 98. Great job though! I keep having an issue where the taskbar stops using the WindowBlinds skin. Have you had this issue?

Are you using Classic/Open Shell / Quero / various AHK scripts to achieve the explorer image you posted earlier? Because when I use this theme, this is what explorer looks like for me: As far as I can tell, this is just the same as the original version that you linked in the first post in this thread. This is on 20H2. I must be missing something.

Hello, can you please let me know how do you manage to make the explorer look like you mention, using your windowblinds skin ? I am running your skin on Windows 10 21H1 and shows two white panels on one of the toolbars, the address bar and the search bar, very different from your pictures. So it behaves like all the Windowblinds skins when used on Windows 10. Windowblinds apparently cannot skin the white panels on the toolbar. I got the same result as other members mention in this post. Please let me know if I can do anything to fix this problem or if you use any trick to make your explorer look like you say. It´s a pity, as I wanted to use your windowblinds skin for daily use, I love the classic theme and I am searching for something as close as possible to the original. Attachments:

I could get rid of the address bar with a script a found in the site, I also applied Quero toolbar, but my explorer looks very different from the attachment the author of the post shows.

I've tried this theme again and have noticed a few issues. Is this still being maintained / can these be fixed? Everything I'm about to say has been tested on Windows 10 1809 and 21H2. 1. Even with small taskbar, the clock shows the date:
2. When in certain windows like Programs and Features, if you hover over the links on the left hand panel, the font size shrinks:
3. When highlighting items, they are only highlighted via a dotted black box around them. This makes it hard to quickly tell which items are highlighted. Same things happens inside explorer windows:
4. The highlight colour on context menus seems wrong. I believe this is the Windows 98 highlight colour and not the one that was used in the "Windows Standard" theme that 2000 was based off:

I'm pretty sure #3 is true to Windows 2000. Not sure how to disable it. Sometimes it disables itself on mine randomly.
