FYI - imageres.dll from SysWOW64 DIR has caused issue: Infinite loop of the loadingscreen on lockscreen;

Tried the theme on 1803 worx fine great idea cause microsoft is deleting usable things buttons need more work they get all grey when not selected but they should not be grey it would be nice to get them pixel perfect to the classic theme try to add the msstyles startisback themw stuff classic3.msstyles which will give us back the win7 taskbar without actually installing startisback cause its downsides is that its paid shareware/nagware but luckily uses msstyles Edit some additional work could be needed  If we compare these 2 there is a difference second row is not themed properly and first row has big clunky buttons compared yo the original needs some fixing also the greyed out buttons need fixing they are not supposed to be greyed out only the colour near them lastly look at the hue its windows 7 why not let the schemes control it? here is the post including the colour theme reg files might give you an idea on how to implement user default colouring www.winclassic.net/thread/327/win2k-panel-reactos-cpls get the themes reg You might need to port this startisback theme to your theme (or add your changes to it) for a good pixel perfect win7 taskbar Classic3.msstyles (968 KB) This theme is not really respecting scheme colours at explorer windows but it respects them at the winver but first after i set the windows 10 color scheme from the 2000 reg with deskn.cpl found in classictheme download here So colors need fixing too in order for them to work with schemes . 1. I've tried both classix and skinpack and neither seem to do anything but change my background, it often crashes personalization instead of applying

Once again bumping this to try to get some help or advice on these things.
First of all. The classix and skinpack.
I'm really confused by both of these. they seem mutually exclusive and don't seem to work anyway. What is it they do? Currently I got windblinds and Classic shell working fairly well. Still not exactly how I'd like but better than before. But these two themes don't seem to ever do anything even with everything disabled.
The dividers close to start button never seem to appear no matter what I do either.

You NEED UltraUxThemePatcher. Some themes will not work in Windows 10 version 2004 though, even with using that. |

The Classix is the visual style. It changes the way UI elements such as checkboxes and buttons look. The SkinPack changes the icons by modifying system files. Don't worry, it's safe. The dividers I think are icons in the quick launch or something, or it may be part of the Classic Shell taskbar skin. |

Unless if ClassicMan still has the file, then you have no option but to talk with the person who made ClassiX (niivu on deviantart) and ask him why it's removed. As to the setup itself: Overall Perfect. Almost looks like Windows 2000. |

For my personal use, I modified moonique's classic theme which is almost identical to niivu's ClassiX theme. I fixed some bugs and changed the navigation and searchbox buttons, here is the result with w10 ltsc 2021 iot:   contextmenu with explorerpatcher or windhawk taskbar : startisback+ and classic3.msstyles icons : w7 icon pack Calc keeps an aero look and classic task manager stays white ! The main problem remains the caption buttons (too big and ugly) but I don't know how to improve that!? If only there could be a way with basicthmer2 or windhawk? I did this as an alternative to the real classic because I have stability issues/bugs with SCT ! let's hope Simple Classic Theme 2.0 makes things better ! |
