Some of the modifications: Changed some of its icons, including the tray icon, with that of Windows 98/2000 Force native style buttons
Default PENM color scheme follows the Windows color scheme Icon buttons now use Wingdings and Webdings glyphs in Unicode

How can I make PE network manager show up like that in the taskbar? Also, the attached file doesn't run for me, the window does not appear at all

How can I make PE network manager show up like that in the taskbar? Also, the attached file doesn't run for me, the window does not appear at all I think you have to check the boxes like this in the preferences ("Other" category) :
