There is no dark or light scheme;the dark color settings applies to titlebars of applications using dark mode, and light color settings applies to titlebars of applications using light mode. This application only applies blur to titlebars and borders,it cannot make your system use full dark or light mode.

had that misconception as well, not hard to make the colour schemes consistent, just copy the settings from the dark or light mode into the other one and you will be fine

It is for applying BLUR to titlebars. You can already apply a custom windows theme by first patching your system with a program like Ultrauxthemepatcher. Then you download a theme like vaporvances Aero10 and use that with this program.

Bruh, some time ago i tried to patch my system with UxTheme, it almost bricked my pc, i had to get UXinit.dll and themeui.dll from another pc and put it back on system32 using the recovery cmd

Different active/inactive colours were used for blending in Windows 7, but it was a really subtle difference. DWMBlurGlass just gives direct control over it instead of calculating the two colours off of one base colour.

That doesn't actually replace system files, but instead hooks them at startup. It has wide OS compatibility and is easy to remove even if it does break.
