Here's how to customize the "new" item in the desktop context menu, to follow the order you want, and not the way Microsoft wants. To do this, you need to take ownership of this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Discardable\PostSetup\ShellNew Basically, edit the Classes value, then right-click on ShellNew and select permissions. Make sure ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES is selected then click Advanced. On the next screen, select Disable Inheritance and then on the dialog pop-up select the first option. Then click on each of the three top users (Your account, SYSTEM, and Administrators) and hit the edit button, untick "Full Control" on each account, clicking OK each time. Note: right clicking on the desktop at any point before you untick Full Control on all three accounts and saving the permissions will revert it to it's default value. Downside to this: No new items can be added unless you renable access to that key. You're basically freezing it in place. Proof it works: More info here: www.tenforums.com/customization/154136-change-item-order-new-context-menu.htmlwww.programmersought.com/article/13802404392/EDIT: Reworded post to make it this less confusing.

If you're using a older Windows build (Think is 1809 and below), it does show a option. If you're using a version above 1809, you must use ExplorerContextMenuTweaker.

I'm using an older version of 'Tweaker, so I don't have that option. My bad, they must've included that tweak in a later release.

I hate the forced UWP/Metro/Tablet UI in Windows 10, I wish they kept at least the Control Panel.

Does the older version contain more options than the newer one?

We should not rely that much on winaero tweaker cause it removes things you can actually enable depending on what windows you are running for example the old win7 clock ui is possible thanks to startisback but requires the registry file . Winaero disabled it but you can add the .reg manually , surely same goes for briefcase and other stuff. Its almost as winaero got paid by the windows team to do that.
