Interesting. It might be useful to fix some windows that have glitches in Windows Classic theme by making them think that DWM is disabled. I've modified it so it does it only on firefox windows and it works great! It makes the windows just use the standard Win10 title bar instead of the half classic half win10 title bar

Never said anything about incorporating it in my program! Thread just kinda got derailed.

Thanks to Microsoft and Nvidia's great backward compatibility, that is no longer an option ;-) I saw some guy that modded Nv's (rtx) driver to work on 1607. RTX cards are working w/o problems on 1709
Hi! Do you have any link to this? I've been searching for a while but still can't find anything concrete. Does it screw up signatures too? Otherwise it wouldn't be really practical (anti-cheat in games i.e.)

_After installing RibbonDisabler, this is what happens to the context menu. What to do? Explorer contextmenu tweaker and then you need open C:\ and rightclock on any file or folder that is how you activate the menu until you reboot then just redo these steps.

One 1903 right clicking the desktop should be fine.

Another problem has appeared. The classic theme starts when I boot Windows. But at the same time, Metro applications and even Settings stop working: when they are opened, an empty window opens. I turned off the classic theme, launched the Settings - they opened normally. Then I closed them, turned on the classic theme and reopened the Settings - they are still displayed normally. That is, an empty Settings window is displayed while they have never been launched and the classic theme is launched. How to get rid of the bug?

Odd, it should do the exact thing you said (launch a metro app BEFORE classic theme). Try increasing the delay option to 7500

I found out what is the reason. When a different browser (not Edge) is selected in the Settings, the bug described above occurs: when you launch a classic theme, when you enter Windows Metro-apps open with an empty window. But if the default browser is Edge, then everything is displayed fine. Have you noticed this?
ps Launching a classic theme I have set as a task in the Task Scheduler Windows launch exe with a key /enable

The /enable thing is your mistake. I assume you have it set to run at boot? If so, and only if so: change it to "/boot". I haven't documented this because SCT should create it's own task for launching but in your case it's bugged.

I tried to press the "Install" button in the program. The program creates its own task. But it fails because the elevation check box is not checked (see figure). But even when this checkbox is checked, the program simply starts, in which you still need to press the Enable button, and not apply the classic theme right away. Therefore, I created my task. Now I tried the /boot option, but it didn't work: the classic theme didn't apply (although the program started). Accordingly, metro-aps are working normally. So what can you do to make the classic theme apply and the metro app work correctly? Attachments:

Well, that's your issue! 1.0.6 is completely broken. Download 1.0.5 from the Github instead
