Microsoft seems to have completely destroyed /Capture-Image now. No matter what, this happens: Use DISM++ to capture it. Thanks for letting me know about that! Now I can continue making WIMs.

So i've been wanting to do this. So now there you go!Windows 10 1903 Completly Transformed into Windows 7 Version 1.0.0 = The Prototype. (Old Setup)View Attachment View AttachmentVersion 2.5.0 = The Return. (The Medium Transformed Setup.)View Attachment View Attachment View AttachmentI currently used Windows 10 Version 1903 and Transformed it into Windows 7 Here's what i actually added to the Setup:
- Added Some Legacy Windows 7 Apps- Added the Windows 7 Games and Games Explorer- Added the Taskbar and the StartMenu from Windows 7- Added the Old Action Center Icon Tray to the Taskbar- Added Some Old Legacy Flyouts : Volume, Battery, Network, Clock and the Tray Overflow- Added Windows 7's Full Collection of Themes (including all 20 Regional Themes! And including some Extra Themes like : Box Art, Dark Windows 7 and an Windows Vista Theme.)- Added Some Windows 7 Icons - Added Some System32 Apps from Windows 7 (Some apps does work but one of the apps has lost fuctionality to run in Windows 10.)
- Added Windows 8's Beta Help Pane (Which have the Windows 7 Buttons) - Added Windows Journal - Added Windows Defender (Windows 7 Version) - Added Windows 7's Display Switch- Added Windows 7's Alt Tab's Apperance- Added The Windows 7 Styled Ribbon- Added Service Pack Info to System Properties- Added Windows 7's Sample Media - Added Old UAC Dialouge
- Added Windows Easy Transfer - Added Getting Started from Windows 7 (and more!) Now heres what i modified the files in my Setup: - Modified Winver to report the NT Version as 6.1 - Patched File Explorer with OldNewExplorer and Aerexplorer - Edited Some Icons to Windows 7 Icons
- Made the Start Menu in Order like in Windows 7 - Restored some Legacy Applets to Control Panel - Replaced explorer.exe.mui to achive the look of the Taskbar Context Menu from Windows 7 - Edited mmres.dll PNG'S to match the Windows 7 styled Sound Properties. (and other modifications.)
(Special Thanks to the WinClassic Community!)
(Soon i'll create this as an Custom ISO. This might take a while.) Edit: Well i don't think i tried but i failed to do so.
Another Setup Update has finally arrived! This time i only added 6 things to the setup. And now this is i want to announce : The setup version has reached to Version 3.0.0!Version 3.0.0 = The Close Look to The Original. (The Finale with an Mini Update.) - Added Windows 7's Notepad (including the other notepad for the Windows Folder too.) (You can check it in one of the screenshots.) - Added CMD Console Logon (chaging this to avoid cofunsion.)
View AttachmentWell now its only going to be the Cmd Logon Screen. Because this one logon screen is appearntly a fake one. You can just realize it. Now here what i edited the files to make things resemble more like in Windows 7: - Windows 7's Sound Context Menu. (SndVolSSO.dll.mui) View Attachment- Edited SndVolSSO's Microphone icon to Windows Aero. View Attachment
Now for the last part here what i did to update the 2 Extra Themes (Windows 7 Dark and Windows Vista.) : - Updated Windows 7 Dark Theme. View Attachment- Updated Windows Vista Theme. (Which you should suspect about why im using this as a extra theme?) View AttachmentMini Update is now here. Which now its the final one. | Version 3.0.1 : The return of Internet Explorer 8 and its extra 2 additions, 1 fix and 1 improvement. (Final Version.) - Added Internet Explorer 7/8 Theme to Firefox ESR 115. (Rinfox) - Added the Classic Pie Chart to Local Disk Properties, Its actually really close enough. But even though it could be great for an Classic Theme port. (Thanks to Aubrey!) (and other things that i can't seem to remember..)So now here are some fixes and improvements that i put into this Mini Update: - Removed the Build Number Strings from the Desktop. (which wasn't in the Origina l Windows 7, but it could be used for an theme if Windows wasn't activated.) - Rearranged the Start Menu and the All Program List a little bit. Now it looks a bit better.(And more improvement and fixes to the Setup.)How did you get that login screen?

And now, from now on, its no longer being used. Sorry for the inconvenience.

does this work on the newer versions of windows 10? Like 22H2 for example. Well since i haven't released this as an ISO, its still coming soon. And when its released : Well if you want to update to the latest version, then this mod may not work in 22H2 because of the 5 main reasons : 1. the uDWM patch will totally break, and the 22H2's uDWM patch dosen't work anymore. 2. Windows 7 intl.cpl won't work on 2004 and higher. Because the cpl only works in 1909 and below. 3. This mod is using Glass8. But a alternative to this while in 22H2 should be DWMBlurGlass. 4. This will be based in 19H1. 5. The icons will be reseted to default Windows 10 after the update.

Also may i learn what do you mean by this? Ok so i'll explain it for you. So i only got the Network Activity Inidicator just for the Decorational Flyout. And i know this one is not pretty much not like the one in Windows 7. And i mean.. It can just act up like an network flyout since i don't know what to say to be honest. I only put this as an decoration just for the taskbar. And yeah if you mean this then you proably didn't know.

Am curious, how did you get Windows DVD Maker working? I tried but i only get a "MPEG-2 Codecs not found" error message. Ok i'll tell you. So basiclly all i had to do was to copy the Codec dll files from a Windows 7 machine or something like that. And here is an example of what i mean. (I couldn't tell if those are the required files to make the Windows 7 version of DVD Maker to work but i guess they might be.)And i will tell you some information if you wanna know: I can tell that i obviously got this old version of Windows DVD Maker by an CMD Install Command. Because appearntly i searched up in YouTube and searched this : "Windows DVD Maker on Windows 10 (Out of Development)". And it has an OneDrive link that leads you to the "Windows DVD Maker.zip" file. And unfortunatley i can't download the file anymore, because of the internet connection problem. Because i don't use Google Chrome that much.

But sometimes when i open Windows DVD Maker : an Windows Media Player windows shows up with the error like this: <-- (Updated Image because it was using the wrong font.)You know i think its just normal since this error sometimes appears when i open Windows DVD Maker reguarly. *not trying to be rude, just telling the explanation.*Since you said this : "Seems like putting the codec files alone doesn't make it run." Well it's because you did something wrong. Well i mean the codec files just work fine for me. But your DVD Maker, well i assume you only got the Windows 7 version of DVD Maker from a Virtual Machine i think? Because this version of Windows DVD Maker is not really compatible with Windows 10 but you can still try to fix it though. But i mean you can try the Vista version of Windows DVD Maker because it really works properly with Windows 10 even if you had the Vista version of Windows Media Player installed. And in your screenshot, i noticed that your using an Windows 7 theme. Edit: I think i realized that i found the required dlls now but even though it might require registry patches and .dll files registers. Yeah because i wasn't looking correctly. So these are the "correct" files now. Well since i know that your DVD Maker dosen't work, well because your in luck. Don't worry. I have exactly this .7z file that might help you make The Program work. Google Drive Link: drive.google.com/file/d/18ZvLeVMEM4EWfHVTWndHuvEq6v0WVK7e/view?usp=sharingThis will make your Windows DVD Maker work properly. But even though its going to be through in an Command Prompt script. Oh and i suggest you run the script as TrustedInstaller/Administrator.

Because it was using Tahoma as its font. So now i changed it to default Segoe UI.

Seems like putting the codec files alone doesn't make it run. Still throws that error.
And i get the error below when opening it. Hmmm... That's weird, i mean my DVD Maker really works properly. But sometimes when i open Windows DVD Maker : an Windows Media Player windows shows up with the error like this: View Attachment<-- (Updated Image because it was using the wrong font.)You know i think its just normal since this error sometimes appears when i open Windows DVD Maker reguarly. View AttachmentYeah because i wasn't looking correctly. You might have forgotten to make the drive link public.
