The code for about dialog still has it mentioned even in current version, the only difference is label being hidden, so telling firefox not to display it permanently will resolve the appearance everywhere, i just didn't pay attention to this. Hardcoding font size and hiding labeling for good are pretty much the fixes needed to be done. Having more redundant code helps with version differences here actually, since it covers more things that can go wrong. |

I'm not sure if this is something that was that needed, but after finally finding out how to customise the about window, i did just that. Almost a pixel-perfect copy of original MSIE5 About dialog (couple of small inaccuracies i just haven't figured out yet how to polish). The "OK" button is purely for decoration, it's non-functional.
To add this, place files in the archive to the chrome folder and add
@import "aboutdialog.uc.css";
to your userChrome.css file. User theme colors are supported. Code looks a bit messy, but i will clean it up eventually.
how did you get the native buttons and font in firefox? |

Also mac edition had its own branding too. Ideally i would like to have all Windows brandings as option for a user to choose. |

You're right. Yours is the variation that comes with Win2000, mine is the version on Win98.

Sorry, everyone, popping back in to report on some things i have been doing in regards to bringing theme up to date in a past year: I'm currently running my userchrome version on Dev Edition v.123, and glad to report that during last few updates most of the things didn't break. I almost fixed the panel menus, plus customised another scrollbar variant which resists page scaling a bit better (although there are still issues, at least scrollbar width is consistent). Main roadblock for me now are tooltips. Firefox showing design wonders, as always, has redundant tooltip classification, which breaks things quite a bit. Tooltips with dynamic-shortcut-tooltip ID ascribed to them are compliant to userchrome styling, the rest have their appearance hardcoded in XUL, and seem to be impossible to override. Any help would be appreciated if anyone knows how to fight XUL, since this, despite being small and stupid, is quite demotivating. Didn't work  Also how did you make it to look like unlocked taskbar.

Didn't work Updated the archive. A typo in file name was causing the issue. Important thing to add: there most likely will be appearance issues on legacy installs and Firefox derivatives, since some elements can have different IDs and such. |

Is it possible to take the hyperlink color from the color scheme, the same way as IE does? The parameter name is HotTrackingColor.

Is it possible to take the hyperlink color from the color scheme, the same way as IE does? The parameter name is HotTrackingColor. The LinkText parameter is responsible for this in Mozilla version of CSS. It's thankfully not a legacy parameter yet, so adding :link {
color: LinkText !important;
}to UserContent.css must do the trick on most of websites, unless the hyperlink color is defined by website's own theme. For example, Google links just do as intended, but this very forum will do it selectively since quite a lot of links here are defined as their own class so tis rule does not apply to them. I don't believe there is a way to define a visited link color too, since color scheme itself doesn't really let you change that, although mozilla CSS has a parameter for this too. But there you go. Edit: Nevermind, it actually does override link colors here quite effectively, it's just most links on the main page were visited, so i got a bit confused. |

The value is there somewhere, VisitedText CSS keyword does change visited link color to familiar purple one, but redifining it to be more harmonious with the color scheme doesn't seem to be possible, registry search for RGB data this color has turns up nothing. |

I made IE6 on XP variant by modifying the original MSFX (just like last year). Tested on 115 ESR. I suggest to use with Firefox native controls. It restores the native scrollbar and size change gripper in the status bar.

i have, and the whole pc along with it and it is the same thing, it is on 115.9.1 ESR, tbf this also happened with the original MSFX IE5 theme, idk why its always like this with these classic themes specifically |
