So i was messing around with hex editing and i finally found out how to restore briefcases into context menu that work and also work on desktop alright get ready! First grab syncui.dll from xp and rename it to xpsync.dll then hexedit it and replace all mentions of shell32.dll with xpshell.dll then grab shell32.dll from xp and rename it to xpshell.dll (no need to hex edit) and then go to regedit in xp and import .bfc in hkey_classes_root then import it into your host and go into the key into shellnew and change the command saying syncui.dll to xpsync.dll then grab syncui.dll from 7 8.1 or 10 1607 and put it and the corresponding mui in the right places and now you need to import HKCR\Briefcase and HKCR\CLSID\{85BBD920-42A0-1069-A2E4-08002B30309D} from 7,8 or 10 1607 and now restart explorer and check your new context menu and enjoy restored briefcases  |

Only problem i encountered is that u need to refresh the folder the briefcase has been created in order for it to show up and it does not create a briefcase database file

I get this error when I try to create a Briefcase btw use xp amd64 files since ive tested the dlls in a vm with only the bfc reg and briefcases reg and it worked |
