If you look inside authui.dll, there are some interesting resources. Can this dialog somehow be opened? This CLSID can possibly be the dialog: {5AFFD66E-3C01-4217-BE18-414C155F67B1}

First one appears to be a Longhorn window. Not sure what it was used for though (doubt it's the XP shutdown dialog unless if someone can verify that the corresponding bitmap in XP has the Luna theme)

I think you can change them inside C:\Windows\ImmersiveControlPanel\images

I think it uses the first icon in user32.dll, so i think no.

I tried to replace the user32.dll file but later bluescreen was displayed It is logical, user32.dll is a fundamental library in Windows NT, therefore digitally signed. Regarding the icon, Progman.exe of Windows 95 is a 16 -bit application, so you certainly manage to execute it with Winevdm. In my configuration, I get the original program group icon (from Windows 3.x). So I don't really know what your problem is linked to.

I was able to run progman.exe from Windows 95, but the windows 10 icon is displayed there. Can I somehow change or remove it? <button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> (I am using google translator) Try compiling WinNT progman and using that github.com/freedom7341/Progman-x64

I tried to replace the user32.dll file but later bluescreen was displayed Did you do this in a VM? As i said no, you shouldn't be doing user32 modifications because they break Windows.

I started the program manager with Windows 3.11 and the problem with the icon does not occur there, but the program displays a classic skin, can it be changed? I don't understand what meant by "classic skin". Otherwise, I think you should use Progman-X64, as @noahnicholsfourm you have indicated.

<button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> This is exactly what I get (with progman.exe from Windows 3.1 and progman.exe from Windows 95), with the classic theme activated (the real classic theme, not the classic skin). EDIT: I will test soon without classic theme.

This is because the progman.exe on this page is not Windows 95, but a 32-bit version from Windows NT 3.51.
In Windows NT 3.51 progman.exe, I get the same icon as you.

Is there a way to disable the original Classic theme in Windows 3.11 programs? This happens because the Windows 3.11 progman.exe uses Winevdm because it's a 16-bit program, and WineVDM uses the classic theme by default.
To do this, modify line 6 of the file "C:\OTVDM\otvdm.ini" from ;EnableVisualStyle=0 to ;EnableVisualStyle=1

Is it possible to center the text in the Windows 10 title bar as it was in Windows 8? I tried this method but it doesn't work github.com/valinet/WinCenterTitle(I am using google translator) The installation method is quite complicated, I will try to install it and keep you posted on the results.

For the moment, it does not work, I would dig more deeply soon.At worst, I would ask Valinet. EDIT: In fact, it works, it's just that it doesn't work with the classic theme.

I'm not using it classic theme I know, but I had the impression that it did not work because I use the classic theme, and that worked when I deactivate the classic theme. For you, this should normally work. I think you miss a step.

Hello, I tried to restore the colored tiles in Windows 10. I followed the instructions in this video, but I get this message. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAiTO36j5nI&ab_channel=TheGeekPage<button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> (I am using google translator) Take ownership of the registry key or run regedit as TrustedInstaller with something like RunAsTI
