For the taskbar, if you use StartIsBack++ I highly recommend using the Plain8 taskbar included with the program.

Gummy Your setup looks good overall. What program do you use for the charms bar ? I have the impression that the windows metric is not the correct one, I will have to save the correct metric, I can pass it on to you (from a Windows 8 VM).

First of all, thanks to OrthodoxWin32 who made me think about staying on the forum, i know that i am bad at this but i did another try to make windows 10 look like windows 8X, more than far from accurate and it's only similar is the fact that the OS is Windows, but, there it is, hope you like it. if someone knows how to change the explorer icon without windhawk, i would appreciate your help. Taskbar icons update:

I recommend this to make it more accurate , get WinCenterTitle for the centered title bar to make it more like Windows 8.1. Hope this helps

And a better icon pack for patching tray icons. oh. it's you, i can't use Windhawk since its installation is too long and exhausting, i am searching ways to do it without windhawk, and, what's exactly wrong with the tray icons? they are literally from Windows 8.1, i patched them manually with CustomizerGod,

Why wouldn't you want windhawk? It's the most simplified way of modding ever. You just run setup.exe then you open the program, choose the mod you need and done. What is exhausting about this?

And now, many modifications are only possible with Windhawk.

All I saw was a forum here with no mod code on it so sorry, I will try to find an alternative.

Windhawk happens to be another one of those, and its not compiling the whole app on your PC.
Heck, .NET Framework takes a lot longer to install on low-end PC's than Windhawk
